Question 16 In a certain coding language. 'AEIOU' is written as 'TNHDZ'. Using the same coding language. 'BFJPV' wil...
then 10% discount on selling price then selling price after first discount is 90 Rupee.
if again applying the discount of 15% on new selling price 90 then discount amount is 90*15/100 = 13.5. So, selling price after second discount is 90 - 13.5 = 76.5.
Now again apply the discount on sell price of 76.5 then discount amount is 76.5*20 = 15.3, selling price after 3rd disc. is 61.2
Now price after 3 succesive discount, final selling price is 61.2.
equivalent discount = actual selling price - final discounted selling price = 100 - 61.2 = 38.8
So, option 4 is the correct answer.
